Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rabtly (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Rabtly Cloud service at rabtly.cloud.

2. Description of Service

Rabtly is a managed mesh VPN service built on WireGuard. We provide a cloud control plane, dashboard, and relay infrastructure that lets you securely connect devices, servers, and services across networks.

The Rabtly control plane source code is open source and available for self-hosting. These Terms govern use of the hosted Rabtly Cloud service. Self-hosted deployments are governed by the open-source license accompanying the source code.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address and maintain accurate account information.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Plans

Rabtly offers a Free plan and paid plans (Starter, Pro, Team) with different node, member, and analytics limits. Plan details are described on our pricing page and are subject to change with notice.

Payment

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
  • By providing payment information you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing date.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel a paid plan, you retain access until the end of the current billing period, after which your workspace is downgraded to the Free plan.

Plan Limits

We enforce plan node and member limits automatically. If a limit is reached, new registrations will be rejected with an HTTP 402 response until you upgrade or remove existing resources.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Transmit malware, spyware, or other malicious code
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or network intrusion against any system
  • Circumvent access controls or authentication on systems you do not own or have permission to access
  • Distribute illegal content, including material that violates intellectual property rights
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies without notice.

6. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure, force majeure events, or circumstances outside our control.

7. Intellectual Property

The Rabtly control plane is open-source software licensed under its respective open-source license. The Rabtly brand, dashboard UI, and cloud infrastructure are proprietary. You may not use the Rabtly name, logo, or trademarks without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of all data you store in your workspace (node configurations, ACL policies, etc.). You grant us the right to process that data solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RABTLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may cancel your account via the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or abuse. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if unresolved. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a dashboard notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
