Rabtly is a secure mesh VPN built on WireGuard — designed for the modern distributed world. We believe private, encrypted connectivity should be simple, self-hostable, and accessible to everyone, with a strong focus on the MENA region.
Our Mission
To make secure, peer-to-peer mesh networking as simple as running a single command. We give developers and infrastructure teams full control over their networks — without cloud vendor lock-in, opaque pricing, or unnecessary data collection.
Rabtly is privacy-first by design. Self-hosting is always an option. When you use Rabtly Cloud, we handle only the metadata required to coordinate your nodes — your traffic never touches our servers.

Our Story
Rabtly started as an internal tool to connect distributed infrastructure — a handful of VMs scattered across cloud providers, a couple of on-prem servers, and developer laptops that needed secure access to all of it. Every existing solution was either too expensive, too opaque, or required handing over control of our network to a third party.
WireGuard changed the equation. Its minimal codebase, audited cryptography, and kernel-level performance made it the obvious transport layer. What was missing was the ecosystem around it: automated key distribution, peer discovery, NAT traversal, a multi-tenant control plane, and a dashboard that developers would actually want to use.
That tooling is Rabtly. It grew from a weekend project into a full mesh VPN platform that we now use in production — and are making available to everyone.
The Team
We are a small, remote-first team passionate about networking, security, and developer tooling. We work across time zones and believe the best infrastructure software is built by the people who have to run it. No large org chart, no buzzword-driven roadmap — just engineers solving real problems.
